Corn, Is this a good sign? What’s happening to the corn?
Planted these a couple of months ago, wondering where to go from here, do these look healthy or does anything need to be changed? (in new zealand, its summer currently)
Tassels are the male flowers. Your plants have reached sexual maturity.

Your corn look green and healthy! The male tassels at the top are starting to drop their pollen. Look for the female silks emerging further down. They are slightly sticky so they can catch falling pollen.

It’s a good sign, but you also need to have some corn cobs on those plants. The pollen from the tassels needs to get to the silk of the corn.

Fun fact- it’s the silk that actually turns into the kernels. After pollination of course.
