SFA Gardens hosts the monthly Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, in the Ina Brundrett Conservation Education Building at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, 2900 Raguet St.in Nacogdoches. Jennifer Tucker, owner of Jensfarm Maples, will discuss “Everything You Wanted to Know about Maples, But Were Afraid to Ask.”
Tucker has been the sole owner and operator of Jensfarm Maples in Middle Tennessee since 2001. Growing three hundred different varieties on the property, Jensfarm has become widely known as a highly reliable source of Japanese Maples in the Southeast region of the United States. Tucker has over 20 years of self-taught horticulture and gardening, and she continues to thrive while seeking to both educate and learn from other growers.
