Crushed lava rock and some water will increase humidity. The added surface area of the lava rock increases evaporation. This is what I would do to keep humidity high and not have to constantly mist it. You’ll just have to add more water maybe once or twice a week if it isn’t air tight. You could also do some horticulture charcoal mixed in with the lava rock to help reduce mold potential and other toxic build up. This would also allow a culture of spring tails to exist and not get stuck in the bottom

This may (or may not) grow algae like crazy. Be prepared for frequent cleaning if you like it sparkling – build it so it’s easy to clean.
You can use similar plastic bumpers you have on the light to raise up the lid. Attach them to 4 corners of the lid to create a gap all around. It should give you enough airflow to let things breathe a bit and keep high humidity at same time. I’ve got the identical setup and it’s been working great.
