PALM BEACH GARDENS — Authorities in Palm Beach Gardens arrested a man early Wednesday on suspicion of driving under the influence at an elevated alcohol level, according to official booking records released by law enforcement.

The suspect, Andre Michael Brown, a Black male, was taken into custody by the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department, identified as Agency 78, under Report No. 564368. The arrest was published at 5:42 a.m. on December 31, 2025. Mr. Brown’s date of birth was not included in the publicly available report.

According to police records, Mr. Brown is accused of driving under the influence with a breath alcohol concentration of 0.08 or higher, as well as DUI with a reported alcohol level of 0.15 or greater, or while transporting a person under the age of 18. Under Florida law, such aggravating factors can significantly enhance penalties upon conviction, reflecting heightened public safety concerns.

Authorities did not release additional details regarding the circumstances of the traffic stop, the location of the arrest, or whether a minor was confirmed to be present in the vehicle at the time. Prosecutors are expected to review the evidence as the case advances through the Palm Beach County criminal justice system.

As with all criminal proceedings, the charges represent allegations only. Mr. Brown is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

The Boca Raton Tribune’s Police Report Team will continue monitoring this case and provide updates should further information become available.
