We usually bring our tropical hibiscus indoors for the winter. Cleaning service moved it outside and forgot to move it back in. Sat in 35 ish degree weather for 6 days.

Moisture level reads as wet so seems like they watered the hell out of it as well. Usually sits in front of a big eastern facing window when inside.

Is there any saving it? Bark still seems moist when scratched. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

It’s dead unfortunately, I would be pretty pissed at them. You can always try though I guess and just wait.

    Your cleaners suck.

    That said:

Wooden or Woody plants are hardy and will regrow, they can typically survive freezing temps in that they will regrow.

I would get a large clear recycling bag and put it over the whole plant with the grow light and all. Pull of any dead or flipped or mushy leaves . Dump a cup of water into it to kickstart the humidity and poke about 20 pencil tip sized holes at the top and let it cook for a few months. Provide airflow by grabbingthr bag and rustling it around once a day. Add a cup of water whenever you stop seeing condensation on the bag.
