Those are some absolutely beautiful looking 4 winds… I really like the meltiness on the Kimnach X Torres y Torres.
That areole looks incredibly similar to a root. Just beautiful specimens.
Can I ask a noob question? Why are 4 ribbed cacti called 4 winds?
I’ve never asked anyone in the community and never thought to Google it.
Which I shall go do right now. But figured it didn’t hurt to ask.
