That’s annoying. I’d talk to their parents about talking to them about destroying other peoples’ property (both the plant and the stain on the couch)

when i was younger i carved “fuck you” on an apple with a pen, i knew i had to hide the evidence so i placed it perfectly on-top of our trash can…. safe to say they found it 😂 my parents still laugh about it till this day, 15 years later 😅

I understand impulse control is at an all-time low at that age. I remember doing turdly things then, too.
but I’d still be mad about this for a solid year.
Conscious-Jacket-758
Not even the plant is spared wow
Shjadee_
I get your anger lmao especially since it’s a Hoya which are not the fastest growers, especially the big/fat leaf ones. 10 laps around the house for every leaf the kid touches in the future /jk
dreamlessfin
Anger is not irrational OP. It’s destruction of property, disrespectful of life, and also disrespectful of your things.
Ok_Meet_832
First of all, fck them kids. Second, looks like you could still pot it up and save it. If it works, do that and give it to whatever kid is the culprit for next year’s gift.
agangofoldwomen
This made me very Ohio.

Have you considered turning said offspring into fertilizer for your much quieter and greener offspring?

Folks can throw hate at my generation for “69” and “420” but I wasn’t carving it in peoples plants
Radio4ctiveGirl
Oh I laughed thinking they were younger. Maybe a discussion with their parents is in order. That’s old enough to know better than to mess with people’s stuff.

The vibes are off, for real.

Please ensure you involve yourself with all their cringey slang from here on out. Make it very uncomfortable for them.

Keep ‘em separated
Emotional-Suit9863
They would be banned from my house altogether. If they can’t respect the rules, they’d better stay out.
forestfriend93

Lame af, no cap!

10-13 is wayyyy too old for this behavior. My nieces and nephews would know not to destroy someone else’s property. Two of them are EIGHT! Maybe a 5 year old but still, this is wild to me. I would definitely let the parents know. This is a teaching opportunity.
If the parents don’t want to teach their kids responsibility or accountability, I fear what kind of older teenagers they will become.

This is why I don’t have kids and also hate people in my space.
Ugh

Make sure to call them and say “Skibidi 6-7 Rizzmas, no cap.” We embraced the slang at my elementary school and now the kids are usually more embarrassed to say it.
kitschell
they thought they ate but they didn’t even 6-7 🙄 OP I’m seconding the zombie leaf idea, I’d also recommend bringing this up to their parents
JuniperandTea
Thank you for the birth control post
The_Count_Lives
Pretty neat writing for a 10 year old.
I don’t know many pre-teens writing in Small Caps.

Every plant lover should be suspicious of pets and kids.
