The brick wall, which runs alongside the ACW Garden Centre on Canal Road, has crumbled at the top following the incident.
A car hit the wall at around 1.30am on Tuesday morning (December 30), police said.
Pictures on social media show the heavily damaged front of a black Peugeot following the collision.
A man from the car was taken to hospital for a treatment to a serious injury to his foot.
The injury is not being treated as life threatening and enquiries remain ongoing.
Statement from police
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called to Canal Road, Bradford at 1.36am this morning to a report of a road traffic collision.
“Officers attended the scene at which a car had collided with a wall.
“A man from the car was taken to hospital for a treatment to a serious injury to his foot.
“The injury is not being treated as life threatening and enquiries are ongoing.”
