Siloé Oliveira: Crazy art supply storage made from trash
I up-cycled scrap wood and an old door into a apothecary style cabinet to store my art supplies.

I have moved to a much smaller home with no room inside or outside to get creative.. so now I enjoy these type of videos very much. Beautiful cabinet!!
I was curious but trusted you, and was not disappointed. Your work is always lovely and aspirational/inspirational. The cabinet looks perfect in that room, and with the painting beside it. Well done!
What a wonderful way to add a bit of eclectic practical whimsy while using up bits and bobs. Any project using random pieces while you explain the rationale (using a grid, not using the white knobs as they are too jarring) would be most welcome! Peace.
Your vision of what it's going to look like must keep you going, because while the frames were an amazing start, the rest looked a mess to me, until the very end and then suddenly… gorgeous. Bravo, you!
I get so much inspiration from you and the Dandilion Crayon Girl. I have such a wild collection of random trinkets and samples and ephemera. Sometimes I know exactly what to do with them right away and then other times I end up finding them 5-10 years later and realize they're perfect for a project I thought about when I had forgotten I had the supplies. Crazy how brains like ours work.
just a question that troubles me. I have a beautiful drawing (sepia tones) and I have found the right space but the frame is a matte gold. perfect for my style but not the picture. what is the colour to compliment the pictire? grey, black or? I love this project, but my scrap wood is not that pretty.

Super cool but I really don't understand why you are calling it an "apothecary".
Turned out awesome!
Inspired!!!
That's a clever way to use a made of spit door, but I was hoping it would still work was a door. So that was a little disappointing
Love it!
