In an exciting clash in the Macron Premier League, Cwmamman faced Garden Village.
A big holiday crowd witnessed a classic game of two halves as Cwm went in at half time three goals up following a dominant first half that saw three top finishes from Cam Berry, Kieran Dawe and Kyle Ashford give them a commanding lead.
Cwmamman showcased their attacking prowess with a dominant first-half display, racing into a three-goal lead thanks to fine finishes from Cam Berry, Kieran Dawe, and Kyle Ashford.
However, the tide turned sharply after the interval when Garden Village introduced all their substitutes together at the start of the second half.
Cwm managed to withstand initial pressure, but an injury to the influential Berry in the 63rd minute changed the game’s dynamic. Garden Village struck back with goals from Chris Smith in the sixty-fifth and seventy-second minutes, before Ricky Martin equalised in the eighty-first minute, making it three-all.
It looked like there could only be one winner. Cwm however we’re not done and kept creating opportunities and it was Hunt who sealed the win to great celebrations with the last kick of the game.
Cwm stay in third place and entertain Llandarcy at Grenig Park on Friday, January 2 at 7pm.
