I can’t tell if it’s mold or a horrible mealybug infestation, but either way… that thing is not coming back from the dead, sorry. Take it outside, throw it in the trash, and probably shower immediately after 😬 lol

You could just remove everything dead, yes it’ll basically just be a root and crown. if it has any reserve energy in the roots it may put out the tiniest leaf. Or it’s dead. x’3
If the soil is dry use distilled/rain water. If the soil is wet then its probably dead xD

Good lord
Poor thing.
Idk if that poor bastard has any chance of returning from the dead. Remote anything you see dead and rotting. Maybe there is some life left in the roots. If the substrate is dry, then you miiiiight recover something with a lot of TLC. If it is wet, it is overdue for a funeral.

Almost certainly dead, but if any of the stem is still green and firm it could resprout.
In that case you can cut off all the dead stuff and just keep it damp for a couple months. If it’s alive, eventually a little green sprout will show up from the base somewhere. If it’s dead, you get some time to come to terms with it I guess

I’m more optimistic than the rest of the people here. This could definitely be rescued if you have access to the right equipment. Like a time machine.

Reviving this would be like reviving a rotting corpse

Looks like they let it freeze and now it’s going crunchy. Trim off the crunch and water it, but it really looks like it needs a proper funeral more than it needs water.

Depends, do you have a priest nearby?

It’s fixable, as in you can throw it away and buy another.
