Hello, newcomer to gardening here so pardon my ignorance! I’ve seen this particular ground cover around quite a bit and was interested in planting it in my front yard and wanted to see if anyone knew the exact name, where to get it, tips and tricks on planting it, etc. thanks!

And yes, “Asiatic Jasmine” is the same as “Asian Jasmine”

In my experience, it takes a lot of water to get it to grow that thick. Also it is an ideal area for dogs to leave their stinky messes, I don’t know why but they seem to love it. One of these days I’m going to find a bunch of scarlet spiderling seeds, and then I’m going to rip out all my Asian jasmine.

Ugh, I got rid of this in my yard. It took a really long time to get all of it. Neighbors have it and weeds grow in it and it looks like an unruly mess, and I constantly have to pull it to keep it from growing back into my yard. Wish people would plant native plants instead.

Had it at a prior house, and it looked good for several years without any significant maintenance. Then a few years ago it just started looking thinner and scraggly. We had it under some live oaks, and getting the leaves out was always a challenge as well.
