MIDDLETOWN TWP., N.J. – Traffic came to a standstill Sunday afternoon after a serious crash involving an overturned vehicle blocked all express lanes on the Garden State Parkway northbound near Exit 109, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority reported.
The incident was first reported around 1:37 p.m. just north of County Route 520 in Middletown Township. Emergency crews and state police responded to the scene as all express lanes were closed to traffic during the ongoing investigation and cleanup.
