Police issued a CCTV appeal after a man reportedly ‘posed as a gardener’ in a distraction burglary at a Midland home.
Admitting it wasn’t the ‘clearest image’, West Midlands Police shared a photo of a man officers want to speak to in connection with the incident.
CCTV trawls were carried out, but police said they had been “unable to identify the suspect.”

The incident took place on December 13 when a man purported to be a gardener, police said.
A handbag was stolen from the property in Sewall Highway, Coventry, at around 3pm.
Issuing an appeal for information today, December 27, police said: “We want to speak to this man following a distraction burglary in Coventry.
“We received a report of man purporting to be a gardener, and stealing a handbag from an address on Sewall Highway, Coventry, at around 3pm on December 13.
“We have carried out CCTV enquiries but have been unable to identify the suspect.
“We appreciate this isn’t the clearest image but we believe there will be people who can assist our investigation.
