my mom got this beautiful monstera last summer and its roots have gotten so long – I’ve read that it’s best to try and put them back into the pot, but they’re really too long for that so I was going to just cut them a little. Is that fine? I don’t wanna kill it cause it’s my favorite plant so not sure what to do

I usually cut mine to about the length that they will just reach the soil. Let the cut dry for a day or two then poke them into the pot
It’s okay to trim the roots. If you put them back in the pot after trimming they will continue to grow and add more roots.
You sure can trim them, or guide them into the soil or a moss pole! All work well and more than anything it’s a preference!
I like the look with the long Ariel roots personally, but yes you can trim them and the plant should be fine.
Yes, that’s fine.
i cut the aerial roots on mine all the time and it’s totally fine! they’re not like regular roots so the plant doesn’t mind if you trim them a bit.
