Can this be saved? The soil was waterlogged and when I attempted to remove the plant, the stem snapped off.

Put into a clear glass of water so it’s easy to see into. Have the water come up just to the base of the leaves, don’t get the leaves wet. Let it go a couple of weeks until you see white roots coming out. Then, pot it back up in some good moistened soil. Should be good as new!

Did it look remotely healthy before the stem broke? It doesn’t look good to me and I’d chuck it and find a new one but first I’d spend time researching. They aren’t a no work plant… if you like to cater to plants and do your homework you can have some beauties in your home.

  3. You can repot it and put the whole thing in a ziplock bag- 1 gallon size bag. Don’t overwater and zip it up. You can use plastic coffee stir sticks to hold it in place. In about two months it should have a nice root system.
