I’m not super experienced with cacti. I bought the boob cactus in August and it had a patch of these brown spots, but the nursery employee said it’s just sun scorched. I moved it to indirect light like she told me to. However, these brown spots have spread, and the cactus is wrinkly/a bit squishy.

I thought the Mickey Mouse cactus around the same time, and it’s also wrinkly/a bit squishy. It has one brown spot.

What should I do?

Doesn’t look too bad and it’s leaning over, Maybe pull out of the soil to confirm the roots are not rotted?

The Myrtillocactus looks like it has healed scarring from sunburn. The Opuntia looks thirsty, though I would make sure both are in a really gritty mix before watering next. Make sure when watering to soak the soil and then let it dry completely before watering again. As for lighting I would look into Barrina lighting. I have pendants and grow light strips from them and my succulents are very happy!

Both honestly look great. Don’t pull roots.

Indirect light won’t cause sunburn, but if you don’t give them direct light they will both slowly die.

The solution to this is to gradually acclimate them to more and more direct light. Also for cacti “direct light” is like… direct from the sun. Not even through a pane of glass.

But semi direct light is better than nothing.
