Cutting bamboo is a real chore! We had some grow in our back yard, (Eastern USA), that the previous owners had planted as ‘ornamental’. We fought cutting it back for years, never won the fight.
Sawing through it was so, so hard.
I admire what you are doing and would love to see how the kitchen building goes!
