For context, we have been at war with spider mites for months. I wipe leaves, high humidity, quarantine, yada yada yada. We are on round TWO of beneficial bugs. It seems we are making progress. I’ve recently built plant cabinets and this guy appears on my Monstera Mint. I swear to goodness if I have been rewarded with Thrips for killing off spider mites I’m done with the hobby. Systemic will only kill all the beneficial bugs and enhance the spider mites again.
Water biweekly or when dry. 16 hours of light barrina or sansi. Chunky soil.

A photo would be better. I’m not accustomed to seeing thrips move that quickly, doesn’t mean that’s not the case.
What issues are you having with the plant that you think are related to thrips?
Is it possible that this is one of the stages of the beneficial insects?
Have you seen more than one?
