Not cultivars, but Copiapoa are some of the only cacti I can grow well in my area, so they’re my favorites by far. Just sucks how long they can take to get that farina and reach maturity/flowering size.

Aztekium. Still trying to find a good deal on all three.

Gotta be either echinocactus horizonthalonius or uebelmannia pectinifera.

Call me basic but I love Mamillaria cultivars (although there are so many species in Mamillaria that you don’t even need any!). Also, some of the crested Cereus /fencepost style cacti can be beautiful

I’m not the biggest fan of cultivars; I prefer my cultivated plants to look as close to their wild counterparts as possible. But there are a handful of cultivars that I do like, mostly the Japanese cultivars of Astrophytum (myriostigma ‘Onzuka’ is probably my favorite, but all the ‘Kikko’ cultivars are nice too) and Ariocarpus (particularly the retusus var. furfuraceus cultivars, like ‘Maruibo’ and ‘Daruma Seiji’).

Ariocarpus. I’m trying to sow and graft. I’ve got:
retusus,
trigonus,
kotchoubeyanus,
fissuratus,
agavoides,
scapharostrus,
Possibly a furfuraceus.
Will eventually get into the more extreme varietals like cauliflower, godzilla, heavily variegated ones, etc.
It’s a slow process, but I’m looking forward to producing my own seed one day.

Cephalocereus senilis. Nothing beats the OG old man.

I have a pretty big garden/collection of cactus, succulents, and rare desert plants.
Strangely my favorite cactus is a simple big box store variety, Echinocactus grusonii.
My echinocactus polycephalus i recently aquired a seedling of its even rare subspecies, xeramenthoides

Not super rare but i like CSD. Im not sure the exact taxonomy is known. Its a trichocereus species but the parents are unknown and the grower who started the mother stand from seed died iirc.
Not my picture but a good show of the kind of unique mosntrose growth it is capable of producing. Grows like a bridgesii when grafted but on its own roots it produces some really cool growth patterns. Grows very slow and thick too.

I have a couple dozen Golden Barrel cactus.
I particularly like the clumping form.
