Hello everyone! I have this 1 year old air plant in my classroom. I did forget to water it for about a month or two, I know, I know! Now, once a week, I dunk it in my clean and maintained fish tank for about 20-30 minutes. The bottom portion turns green, but the top portion stays brown. Is my plant dead? Can it come back? Thank you!

this is spanish moss and the top being dead is pretty normal imo!
I recommend talking in r/airplants they know more on the subject!
