Majority cloudy with about 20% clear max. Look at the mushroom top on the trichome. If it’s not shiny and reflecting light back it’s opaque and therefore at peak THC.
It’s mostly clear to me that it probably comes directly from the flower. The amber-colored ones in the picture probably come from the sugar leaves. Feel free to correct me 😉

So trichomes when they are clear they are not done but when they start to turn a light amber depending on if it’s an indica or sativa regardless of Indica or sativa light amber will act as a sativa regardless to being indica darker amber will be like a daytime indica and dark amber is couch lock

They look a bit more clear still. Wait a touch. Go by the bud itself. Not the sugar leaves. Also can look at the bract/callyx

I take mine down when about 10% turn amber. I hate, I mean hate the effects after THC degregation. Some people like to be sedated, but not me.
