Applications Now Open for New Community Garden in Knoxville | KNIA KRLS Radio – The One to Count On

Applications are now open for the new community garden in Knoxville.
Plots are available for anyone who wants to grow their own food while also building community. No experience is necessary, but the garden’s organizers ask that participants show effort for a successful growing season. The Mint ‘N More Foundation and its outreach brand Mindful Nourishment Matters started the project at the corner of Montgomery and Seventh Streets. The new space is designed to bring neighbors together, promote healthy food access, and offer hands-on support for people who want to learn how to grow their own food, or don’t have current access to a garden.
