The encyclia cordigera I bought last month has fully opened its first flower on Christmas day- and WOW I was so happy this morning to find it's already fragrant! đ Oh I have missed this fragrance. One of my favorite orchids and I've lost a couple of them in the past (root rot,can't overwater these in winter folksđ) so very happy to have one again. The shape of the flowers is so elegant to me, I love the way the petals taper and flare and that lip. The bulbs are so plump and round. I just love it!
