I am helping my buddy out here in Florida, he has a Queen

Palm that is experiencing some issues. Is there any sort of solution that we could put on the trunk or might this tree be done and needs to be replaced? The palm is on drip irrigation.

    Yes, coconut palm. I tried editing the name on the post multiple times but wouldn’t edit. That’s correct though.

    Not a tree. Get this monocot outta here! LOL

    I have no experience with palms.

    Not a queen palm and nearly dead. The limestone rocks and constricted root system are very bad for most palms, including this coconut. This thing needed massive quantities of potassium and other nutrients years ago.
    Along with the beetle/weevil damage I would call this one a lost cause. Call in the tree company to remove and stump grind.
