If Southern Living is running it, we know the movement has picked up steam! As someone who spent a chunk of the holiday ripping out English ivy, it warmed my heart to see this article. I hope this convinces some readers to forgo the invasives.

I used to live in North Carolina. As much as it seems a funny stereotype, Southern Living is wildly popular there from my (limited) experience, and highly influential. Awesome to see them promoting natives!

They invested heavily on developing culitvars when launching their plant brand and put in some pretty pricey stipulations for growers who participate. Now that the word is getting out, they have to shift focus beyond the pricey exclusives and nativars. They see $$$$$$. You best learn to prop your own stuff,
