Coming into last couple weeks of flower and buds are still not as big or dense as id like them
them. Plants had a few issues this grow, growth is somewhat stunted compared to previous. Ive read black molasses is good to add to the nutrient mix for bigger buds – anyone tried this? Also, anybody used a foliage spray for buds in flowering cycle?
Any feedback much appreciated, hope yall had a good christmas.

Better light for sure, and genetics. I have only used follier sprays in veg never during bud cycle
What type of light are you using?
Better light first and foremost, probably better temp and humidity control, and if those are off probably better nutrient management as well, followed by genetics. If you run the mollasses you specifically want unsulfered balackstsp mollasees, 1tbsp per gallon, but if your microbes aren’t in check, and your other nutrients aren’t where they should be it’s not going to do you much good, also don’t foiler in flower only veg and the stretch, once they start throwing clusters of pistils stop with the foilers. And if you’re running hydro you probably don’t want to be running mollasses get something like bud candy or a hydro safe sugar/carb source and if your in dwc better make sure you’re running benificials also if you’re going to run organic or semi organic inputs.
Hang the light higher , don’t strip leafs off from seed ( strain depending) and good food ! Generally speaking
trim the fluff at bottom, make an even canopy, genetics and good environment
Grow a different strain. Check out Wedding Cake.
Genetics, lights, medium. In that order.
Better light, good nutrients, and genetics is really huge.
Genetics, good light, airflow and training…
Look into increasing potassium and phosphorus intake during flowering.
Mollasses is virtually strictly for feeding microbes which may aid in more acessible nutrition to the plant, but won’t guarantee anything.
Dialing in your environment and consistent health of plants coupled with quality genetics is going to be your best bet.

Well… What are you feeding? How much light? What’s your vpd? From first glance it looks like light is a major issue but you need to volunteer some more info to diagnose the issue for real.
Pgr
Nutrients bro and of course good light.
Super cropping does matter during training. You basically break the branches and they grow back bigger and allow more nutrients to pass through. You need a light that is pushing 50-450 PPFD in veg, and between 800-1200 PPFD in flower. If you aren’t sure what your light is doing get a light meter from Amazon. ($30) investment. If you are growing in soil then you would do mid week watering with beneficial microbes like growers recharge coupled with a suger like humbolts sweet and sticky or unsulfered Molasses. If you are growing hydro then you dont want to bother with that step. If your plants had issues its crucial to not flip to flower until they are solved. This will stunt bud production because the plant will spend energy trying to fix the problem and not on fruiting. Without know more thats about all I can tell you.
CO2
If you’re using LEDs you really need co2 to maximize growth. Otherwise leave more leaves, they produce the sugars that are crucial to bud development. Doing big defoliation is only good if you’re in a super dialed system otherwise the leaves are super important, especially if you don’t have supplemental co2 as they are where the co2 enters the plant.
What are you using for nutrients? Are you soil, coco, hydroton?
More light, less nutrients
Mainlining
PK booster mid flower
What Strain is it and is it in hydro ? If so what ppm are you feeding it at , and how often do you do full water changes
Monopotassium Phosphate (MPK) will help them blow up
Genetics, Lights, Medium, Environment, Inputs, Irrigation Pattern
Heathy plants, better light, better genetics and grow better
It looks like you have well over two weeks left. Minimum 3-4 weeks, the buds will bulk up at the end just be patient.
To improve, you should better analyze what you did wrong in the vegetative stage. A good, well-fertilized vegetative stage should result in healthy, large flowers.
Better light, better genetics, look into beneficial microbes and natural ways to increase nutrient uptake
