Sadly, it went make it. It can’t photosynthesiz. It just sucks the life from the other leaves. Just cut it off for the plants sake.

Why aren’t you coiling your trailing part on the soil pin it down with an open paper clip or bobby pin, cover with soil. Makes a much bushier plant. Root nubs in the soil

I’d leave it, let it harden off, see if color shifts from it coming through the soil?
