Any idea what’s up with my fern? The leaves have turned a brilliant yellow. Maybe overwatering now that it’s cooler (automatic system) or a response to the colder temps the other week?
You’ve got the right idea, I’d cut the watering way back until it begins to grow some more. If you know which exact fern species it is, I’d recommend looking up its cold tolerance. There are many ferns that can take cold weather but there are also many ferns that hate cold weather. If it’s a tropical variety, bring it inside for the winter👍
