I had about a hundred species in a greenhouse that I had set up solely for my hobby.
Due to family problems, I lost my house and the collection that was in the greenhouse.
I was only able to save a handful of Pleione formosama, which faithfully bloom every year.
I found some wild Himantoglossum hircinum growing in my garden. I hope to be able to share them with you next year.
In the meantime, here are the faithful Pleione. I get a few more each year; it's a real pleasure.

I think of your situation like the growth cycle of your beloved Pleiones. Your passion and skill in growing orchids is like the Pleione bulb, taking in nourishment to provide for future growth. No matter what changes might occur, your drive insures that the collection will always return
