Bryan Beidleman
The Wellington Garden Club will meet on Monday, Jan. 5 at 10 a.m. at the Wellington Community Center (12150 W. Forest Hill Blvd.). The meeting will feature a presentation on bonsai trees by Bryan Beidleman.
A bonsai tree is a replication of nature in the form of a miniature tree. Bonsai trees symbolize harmony, balance, patience and nature’s beauty.
Beidleman has been practicing the art of bonsai for the past nine years. He acquired his knowledge and honed his bonsai skills by working at a nursery with more than 10,000 trees. Today, Beidleman has close to 200 bonsai trees in his own personal collection. He continues to perfect his techniques of potting, pruning, wiring and styling. He loves to share his passion for all things bonsai.
The public is invited to join the club for coffee and a plant raffle beginning at 9:30 a.m. Visitors are asked to check in at the desk upon arrival. Reserving a spot at the meeting is recommended by contacting Membership Chair Anne Hlasnicek at [email protected].
