As the title says, I pruned my pothos, and started propagating 2. Nothing wrong with them they've both got long roots and growing new leaves, my question however is for the mother plant.

I've read that they should only make 1-2 new vines after being cut, appearing from the 2 closest nodes to the cut. My marble queen must not have received the memo, she's got SIX, I'm wondering if this just means I've taken good care of her?

I've only been a pothos dad for 2 months, but I've been watering with aquarium water (my aquarium is planted and has heaps of fish + I fertilise it weekly)

Sounds like you’re doing a great job! Keep up the good work. Your pothos is loving that aquarium water.

there’s no golden rule for how a plant will respond to pruning, seems like you have quite the happy pothos 🙂
