So my friend gifted me this cutting of his plant that’s been in water for a while, he told me to leave it in there for about another month so more of its roots come in and I trust him. But I wanna be ready when I have to put it into a pot. What do I need? Grow light? Heating pad? What kind of soil? Should I mist it? (My friends room is really humid because he loves Monsteras but I can’t provide that kind of environment). Any and all tips are appreciated, especially if you’ve dealt with this kind of Monstera before. Also is it an albo or Thai con?

  1. Give it more natural light. And when its ready, chuncky Monstera soil. Plant will do the rest 🙂
No misting, it will do nothing. Only get the leaf wet for a few minutes. It will benefit more from a steady enviroment
