Vale Gardens Limited, in Birmingham Road in Badsey, closed just before its 25th anniversary last month, with a new business set to open at the site in 2026.

The business opened in 2001 and supplied Evesham and the surrounding areas with home, gardening, farming, equestrian, and wildlife products.

TFM Farm & Country Superstore revealed it has bought the site from Vale Gardens Limited landlord and has plans to open in its new site in March.

A spokesperson for Vale Gardens Limited wrote on Facebook: “If you are not already aware, Vale Gardens ceased trading on Friday, November 28, with all the staff now redundant.

“We almost made it to our 25-year anniversary, but sadly, it was not to be.

“TFM have purchased our site from our landlords and will be opening from here in March.

“Thank you all for your support and custom over the year.”

TFM Farm & Country Superstore Ltd plans to assemble a team in February, aiming to open at the beginning of March 2026.

Mark Littleford, managing director of TFM Farm & Country Superstore Ltd, said: “Following Vale Gardens Ltd going into liquidation, TFM have purchased the site that they were operating on, from the landlords.

“Our plans are to renovate the building and yard/parking areas to make them more inviting to customers and to offer a great selection of farming and countryside products.

“Updates will go out on our Facebook page once we have started working on the site (TFM Farm & Country Superstore – Evesham Store).

“TFM are bringing their straightforward, fair and truly local approach to the Vale – offering everything from animal feed and fencing to tools, workwear, country clothing and everyday essentials.

“No inflated prices. No gimmicks. Just honest value from people who live and work where you do.”

TFM Farm & Country Superstore offers a range of products for farmers, businesses, builders, and homeowners, including animal medicines.
