This population was very surprising. Typically Darlingtonia grows in slow flowing seeps but these guys were colonizing the edge of this intensely fast flowing creek. Though atypical for the species this was still an amazing find none the less!

    N. CA and Southern Oregon are experiencing heavy rains. The rushing water might be unusual for this creek.
