I just bought a Tillandsia cacticola at my local nursery and noticed a price of fluff between the leaves, I pulled it out because I assumed it was just packing material, but I found a seedling attached to it. How do I care for such a small plant. Is it relatively the same care as the more mature ones? Where do I keep it since I’m afraid it will blow away lol.

Tiny airplants are more vulnerable than larges ones. Put it on a mat of coconut hair, it will root to it and water it very very often but make sure its dry well within 4 hours afterwards. I’d probably start with 2-3 times a day and reducing that as the plant gets larger. It’s probably best to hold off on fertilizer for the first few weeks and only give it sparingly for the first few months. Keep away from direct sunlight, indirect light only until they are big enough to handle more.

This is loosely based on how Eric Gouda does it, i have not grown seeds myself yet, so you may want to look up his guide, it is in dutch though.
