Hello! I would like to get some advice on what to do. This is Begonia Merrymaker, its leaves started getting crispy a while ago and I thought this could be due to overwatering, so I reduced watering frequency (I bottom water). Since then its leaves are still crispy, there has not been any new growth (it used to produce frequent flowers which fell off immediately and were very fragile). Overall it is very floppy and side looking and does not seem to be doing well. I have cut off some of the dead leaves a while ago but since then nothing really improved. Thank you!

How is your humidity? If I leave my Begonias in ambient air they get crispy. In the winter (because the heat is on which makes the humidity lower and humidity is naturally lower in the winter where I live {summer the humidity average is 80%}) I have to keep them in something (I use XL clear shoe boxes from Walmart because they are 100% clear and have a door on hinges) to keep humidity high. If I leave them out in my house they end up dying back until spring where they start growing again. Cold drafts can also make them die back.
