Last Monday, I have cut this branch from my photos fir proping. However, it’s almost a week and I can’t see new roots emerging, same situation, and one if leaves started to get yellowish.
Is there anything I‘m missing ?

Patience mainly. A week is nothing, your prop method looks fine, just give it some time to do its thing.
It does take time for roots to form. Just make sure it’s getting decent enough light.
I also suggest having 1/2 leaves per cutting as there will be a greater chance for success and no leaves dying off.
But no, there’s nothing wrong with what you have setup as long as there are node(s) in the water 😁
It’s okay but your plant is putting effort into the new leaves at the end. Generally most people would cut those into 5-10 cuttings
Each node can become a cutting.
