Highway Ice Plant, Carpobrotus edulis or a similar species.

Ice plant, it’s not native and is quite invasive. A bunch was planted to control erosion but now we know they smother native species and alter the soil so there’s lots of projects around coastal areas to remove them.

  3. Froptus

Iceplant (Carpobrotus chilensis). Highly invasive. Reproduces very well by seed or vegetatively. Feel free to rip out wherever you see it in the wild.

Sometime when plants are in distress, they change color.

  5. ElGrossface

I always thought they were Chilean Sea Figs
