I've had this for some time, and it's just now starting to look droopy and lose leaves. It's not rootbound or rotting. Will take any advice!! It faces eastern light all day and I water it when it's dry about an inch.

What makes you think there’s no rot? Based on the type of pot I see, I don’t believe it has a drainage hole…

Most plants don’t like having wet feet and will let you know that sooner or later. Likewise… if you don’t water it deeply enough because you’re aware of the lack of drainage, it’s not good for the plant either.

Take the plant out, inspect its roots, and remove any visible rot (if any.) Then put in a pot with a nice big drainage hole using appropriate potting mix. Let the top 1-2 inches dry between watering (like you already do) but make sure that you water it thoroughly enough—some water should come out of the drainage hole.
