I love the white leaves!! I get that they are not great for the plant with no chlorophyll production, but it could have some green hidden in there. I’d let it unfurl and see first. It might push out a “better” one right behind too!!

You’d have to cut the stem so the new growth point isn’t on the white stripe on the stem if you want less white leaves. I’d leave it because it’s beautiful & the next leaf probably won’t be as white.
The plant won’t die from a white leaf unless every leaf is white. That leaf will probably just get brown & crispy.
