Sister in law is an avid gardener and I drew her the secret Santa lot, figured this woukd make a good gift.
I didn't have the ability to stamp the curve so I machined it into the blade itself.
Handle is English oak, pinned with brass rivets.
It was a fun project, and first ever knife!
How did I do?

Looks good to me! I bet its sturdy af.
I know I’d be absolutely tickled to receive this! Good work on a thoughtful gift!
hori-ble. j/k nice work
MADE?!
GREAT JOB! This is my all time favorite knife, I wear mine on my hip at all times (my job) and I swear by these. Every time I try posting it on other platforms it gets removed for violence hahaha. Like no bro I use in the dirt and to chop zombies yo. Excellent job, I would be thrilled to receive it as a gift
My only suggestion would be to add a strap or loop that the user can loop round their fingers to insure that when they use the knife stabbily, their fingers don’t slide down and get cut on the blade.
The best part of all of this is they know where to go to get it resharpened for life.
I would be overjoyed to receive this! Fantastic gift.
I have made a few knives before. My biggest criticism is that handle looks like it has some uncomfortable corners on it and looks kinda big in your hands, I assume your sister probably has smaller hands for her.
The handle is the most important part of a knife in my experience, if it is uncomfortable to use, you won’t use it.
