not sure if that's the exact model i ahd but basically had a fairly standard homelite string trimmer and have had multiple of the same for years.

i hate these things, rethreading and replacing the string can always go from being a 4 min endeavor to literally 40 mins. takes me back to being a kid and having to thread the string back on a yoyo or a spool of yarn.

i'm also short as shit and not the strognest with some kind of definciency so holding it as steady as i'd like while not hard becomes taxing since i want to cut in a far cleaner manner than i actually do the

handle thing to actually hold it (i've had 3 of these) never last and stops working soon a month after i get one of these

and to make matters worse, a blessing and a curse, someone when moving stuff in the garage casually just dropped concrete on it and left it there so its basically unusable.

the reason we always got the same ones was likely their price, my father used to and occasionally would trim the lawn too and he was always the buyer so bought based on price and likely his own height and build which were different than mine.

he's sadly had a major accident and is getting his legs and hands amputated. in the event that he survives all this, i hope not but it may be handling the lawn from now on fulltime since he won't be able to. so i don't know where to actually start in getting my first trimmer that's actually acustom to me now.
