I went away for 3 days and came home to these dark spots around the edges of my monstera leaves. What is it? And any solutions would be great! I watered prior to departing for my trip and nothing sense. It sits next to (not in front of) an east facing window so there is lots of indirect light in the room.

Looks like thrips damage 😞 cut off all affected leaves, give it a good shower, spray insecticide with spinosad on all the foliage. Repot into fresh soil, sanitize pots, add systemic granules to new soil mixture and water it in. Repeat the shower and insecticide spray every 5 nights (light will burn the leaves so treat at night). I would also treat all the plants nearby it because it looks to be an advanced infestation and they can fly and lay eggs in the flesh of other plants. Vacuum around everywhere it’s been and wipe down shelves. Clean windowsills. I’m dealing with thrips too right now and it’s a pain, I’m sorry 😞
Was there a temperature change? Given the pattern on the perimeter of the foliage, it’s very suggestive of cold exposure. Plus, cold exposure causes the cells to burst and that appears to be what’s happening here. 💚
Also, move it in front of the window. These really do need direct sun. Just introduce it gradually.
edit: Another possibility is phytotoxicity. That would only occur if a noxious substance was put in the pot. Could anyone have added anything while you were gone?
