Honestly brothers and sisters, each of you out there are far more valuable than any variegated monstrose new flavor of the month Trichocereus. I’ve lost some beautiful and important people in my life to suicide. Temporary problems that were solved with a permanent solution, death. If you’re struggling with life and it’s many hardships, pains, disappointments, and sheer weight of unhappiness and despair, reach out to the number in this post. Reach out to an old friend. Reach out to a relative. Reach out to someone in this community, reach out and reach out and keep reaching out. Let someone talk with you, walk with you, carry you, and save you from a permanent decision to a temporary problem. Asking for help takes courage, I get this, but you have so much value to share with this world, don’t give up yet, there’s a purpose for you being here, an adventure just around the corner, a reason you were created to make this crazy world a better place. So don’t give up! You got this, your cactus need you, but far more importantly the community and the world needs ya. I miss M, and I miss S. I wish I could have carried them, I never knew it was even a possibility, I wish they both would have just reached out, I would have dropped everything, but they didn’t, but you can, my hope is you all find happiness this season, and if need to, please just reach out to someone.
