Looks like crepe myrtle fruits, Lagerstroemia speciosa.

I was prepared to say that this was not crape myrtle, but turns out there’s another (less familiar to me) species of crapemyrtle, Lagerstroemia speciosa that has these seedpods. Check out the pictures in [this article.](https://gardenvive.com/giant-crape-myrtle-in-florida-growing-and-caring/)
