I also do the netting. For each bed, my husband made a PVC pipe frame and we lay the tulle over it. Sort of like a bed canopy.
You’re an excellent teacher! I think I will be trying this over my collard greens plants. I don’t know what’s been making lacework out of my beautiful collard green leaves. I was discouraged from growing collard greens, but the new year is just around the corner. It’s time for a wise start in the garden using secured gardening mesh! Gardening is a real war against nature sometimes.
time for TULLE! My neighbors and I have major ant problems this year. Even tho they don't eat the plants, they are in relation with pests that do. I will spray the "Home-Defense" spray around the borders of the house, but it isn't gonna go anywhere near the garden!
We do tulle as well in the spring. It's not perfect, but it's a good deterrent.
Never tried tulle. Inn my containers garden 🪴 I use chicken wire. It stops squirrels from digging up my plants tu bury acorns…. Only to come back months later to dig acorn out.
It’s a pain but it works.
