Not Australia, but New Zealand 10a. In the wide shot you can see an unsightly dark patch on the right of this image. Contract that with the yellow under-fertilised stuff on the left with a strip of fertilised running through it. What could be causing the dark, brown-greenish patch of grass? Closeup #1 is the undesirable section. 2 and 3 for comparison.

Is it an area where water often pools? I have a greener area in my yard that gets water runoff from uphill.
