I guess tell you, next year you’ll be looking for a gravity fed or drum machine. I highly recommend using a home built sifter that uses gravity to do the work. Here is an example of an easy setup I built:
Drop at the top, gravity does the work, the big chunks go back in the bottom bin as top dressing or back in the compost. The wood is attached to the screen with staples from a manual staple gun, super cheap build. Best of luck!
