Not as familiar with this variety but it’s been getting worse each day. Is it too far gone? I have another one of these that is thriving but I must have made a fatal mistake with this one.

Awe. I’d sure try. I don’t know much about air plants but I have a couple. Did you soak it a lot or leave it wet for a long time? I’d try removing the dead leaves and making sure the rest of it is dry and not mushy. Give it a bright spot and good air circulation and mist sparingly for a bit. I rarely mist mine. Soak every couple of weeks. Maybe it will come back. Make sure to allow to drip dry thoroughly on some towels before placing back into it’s home. If it’s mushy I’m afraid it might be a goner.
